Talitha Spanjersberg is a PhD candidate at the Department of Cardiology, UMC Utrecht under the supervision of prof. Folkert W Asselbergs, Prof. Jolanda van der Velden, Dr. Frank van Steenbeek and Dr. Magdalena Harakalova.
Talitha studied veterinary medicine at Utrecht University. She developed a strong interest in cardiovascular research throughout her Master's program Companion Animal Health. She acquired experience in microfluidics and multi-omics in translational research using the canine model during her Honours Program. Her fascination with genetics and pathophysiology drives her passion to contribute to a better understanding of complex diseases.
