We invest in breakthrough science in consortia to develop new cardiovascular solutions

Our consortia

Consortia around priority solutions for cardiovascular disease are the core of the DCVA. These public-private consortia contribute to the overall ambition of the alliance to reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease by working on early recognition and rapid translation of excellent science into health improvement.

A DCVA consortium is characterised by a collaboration of multiple research institutes, public and private organisations creating a national network around a specific cardiovascular theme. At least one of the partners of the consortium is (represented by) a formal partner of the alliance. The responsible funding organisation is also a DCVA partner. The consortium actively contributes to the alliance in terms of allocating time and efforts to valorisation, implementation, talent development and data infrastructure.

The DCVA currently consists of consortia in the following groups
