Double Dose - Mickaël Hiligsmann

Mickaël Hiligsmann is Associate Professor in Health Economics and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) at the Department of Health Services Research, CAPHRI Care and Public Health Research Institute, Maastricht University. His main research interest is health economic evaluations (including cost-effectiveness analyses, burden of disease) and preference elicitation.

He is author of about 180 peer-reviewed articles and has been co-promotor of about 17 PhD students. He has been involved as an HTA-project leader and supervisor in numerous studies funded nationally and internationally by public and private organizations (ZonMw, pharmaceutical industry, EU, etc.). In the Double Dose program, Mickaël Hiligsmann is involved in the societal and economic impact Working Package. He will supervise the assessment of the societal and economic impact of genetic cardiomyopathies and the assessment of the gain of the interventions.
