The main research interests of the group of Duncker are cardiovascular (patho)physiology, in particular the regulation of coronary blood flow and coronary microvascular tone during exercise and in a variety of cardiovascular disorders, including metabolic disorders, ischaemic heart disease, cardiac hypertrophy and heart failure.
