Eric Boersma studied Mathematics and Clinical Epidemiology. He is appointed Professor of Clinical Epidemiology at the Erasmus MC. Eric has over 30 years research experience in the fields of cardiovascular diseases and biostatistics. His teaching and research interests focus on statistical methods for clinical data analysis, and risk modelling in cardiovascular diseases, with emphasis on the role of (invasive) imaging, blood biomarkers and the impact of sex differences.
