The added value of the NHR for physicians, patients and other stakeholders in cardiac care and its development over the past year is presented in the NHR Annual Report 2021.
High quality and completeness of data, projects initiated by registration committees to evaluate and improve the quality of care, an increased number of applications for scientific research, projects to reduce the registration burden and again less required financial resources. These are all examples of the successful developments by the NHR that will be continued in the coming years, including building the infrastructure for registry-based research.
