Martijn van Basten Batenburg started in July 2022 as Project Manager at the DCVA. In this role he will support the Program Management Team and the different projects, initiated from the six ambitions of the DCVA.
Martijn finished his Master in Cardiovascular Research at the VUmc school of Medical Sciences in 2020. After this, Martijn started working as program officer for the COVID-19 subsidy program at ZonMw, the Dutch organization for health research and development. Now he is back in the field of cardiovascular disease and is dedicated to support impact out of cardiovascular research during his activities for the DCVA.
