Edith completed her Master’s degree in Health Sciences (Metabolism & Nutrition) at Maastricht University. Thereafter she worked as a PhD student and postdoc researcher at the Erasmus Medical Center, department of Epidemiology, studying various outcomes including cardiometabolic and bone health in large-scale cohort studies. In the last years she combined her academic interests with applied research at Nutricia Research, where she was involved in multicenter clinical trials. Edith is looking forward to contribute to the successful implementation of the Check@Home project in collaboration with the different partners.
