We are excited to share that the IMPRESS consortium website is live! IMPRESS is a Dutch national research consortium established to improve care for women with cardiovascular disease. In the Netherlands, 20.000 women die each year from cardiovascular disease. Within the IMPRESS consortium, a large group of scientists and cardiologists is investigating how to improve diagnosis and treatment in women with potential heart disease. This research is led by professors Hester den Ruijter and Eric Boersma.
IMPRESS is funded by the Heart Foundation and supported by ZonMw, NVVC, Harteraad, WCN and NFU. They are part of the total of twenty-two organisations that have joined forces in the Dutch CardioVascular Alliance (DCVA).
