First group completes two year DCVA Leadership Program

This month, the first group of participants that started our DCVA Leadership Program in September 2020, completed their program. With an eventful afternoon in the city center of Utrecht and an culinary evening in the Kookfabriek, there has come an end to their challenging and unique program.

During the second year of the DCVA Leadership Program, the participants had again three in-depth days, organized by the talent pillar of the DCVA. These in-depth days covered three topics, indicated by the participants themselves at the end of their first year as useful topics for their development and interest. These topics included personal leadership, valorisation and public affairs. In collaboration with the valorisation pillar and public affairs and communication pillar of the DCVA the programs were developed and experts invited. Luckily, despite COVID, the meetings could occur in real life, on location.

In addition to the three in-depth days, the participants themselves organized a network event “meet our future leaders” and a study trip to Brussels.

What’s next?
At the end of the DCVA Leadership Program, the fifteen participants are appointed as ambassadors of the DCVA. They will be involved in the different pillars and projects of the DCVA and thereby be enabled to continue developing themselves as the future leaders in the cardiovascular field.

We are very proud of this first group of young leaders and we will continue to follow their already impressive career paths.
