On the 10th of May a new edition of the DCVA & RegMedXB Valorisation Community meeting took place in the Holland Heart House in Utrecht. The theme of this meeting was Strategic partnering with pharma companies and patient organisations in the development of your product and company.
We invited two inspiring speakers to talk about their experiences with strategic partnering; Daniela Couto (Partner at Biogeneration Ventures, BGV) and Corné Baatenburg de Jong (Deputy Director of ReumaNederland – Dutch Arthritis Society).
Daniela spoke on how large pharma impacts biotechnology startup success, based on her experience in life sciences companies and her recent publication in Nature Biotechnology.
Corne discussed with us why, when and how to partner with health foundations and/or patient organizations with lively examples from the Dutch Arthritis Society.
It was an inspiring meeting with animated discussions. After the talks, attendees shared tips, tricks and ideas while enjoying snacks and drinks.
