Last year, the Heart Foundation launched the new cardiovascular agenda with seven key ambitions. Each ambition includes several detailed objectives. Do you have a strong research idea that addresses these objectives from a multidisciplinary perspective? We are eager to hear your proposal!
A significant portion of the objectives offers excellent opportunities for research. With this new knowledge, we can work strategically to achieve the seven ambitions of the cardiovascular agenda. Therefore, the Heart Foundation is making 10 million euros available for research that contributes to the realization of the objectives outlined in the cardiovascular agenda.
Two Funding Opportunities
For established researchers, we are currently offering an open call for consortia. For early-career researchers, the Team Science Dekker Grant will soon be open. Both funding opportunities require that the research contributes to at least two objectives from the cardiovascular agenda.
Networking Events on March 10th and 11th
Are you interested in one of these funding opportunities? We invite you to an information and networking event in Utrecht. On Monday, March 10th, and Tuesday, March 11th, 2025, the DCVA, in collaboration with the Heart Foundation, will organize two networking events. The event on March 10th will focus on the open call for consortia, while those interested in the Team Science Dekker Grant are welcome on March 11th. Please feel free to share this information with colleagues within your institute or with other interested parties.
