Eric Lambermon

What is HartVaatHAG in short and what does your organisation stand for?
HartVaatHAG is one of the Dutch expert groups in which general practitioners with specific skills are united, general practitioners with cardiovascular disease as a focus area. Members of HartVaatHAG advise almost all general practitioner groups in the Netherlands on substantive and policy matters. They participate in the development and revision of guidelines in the field of cardiovascular disease. HartVaatHAG is associated with the academic departments that focus on research into cardiovascular diseases in primary health care. HartVaatHAG has an independent position in the scientific and social debate on prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

What does HartVaatHAG hope to get out of the partnership with the DCVA?
HartVaatHAG hopes to further expand its position on a scientific and social level by joining the DCVA.

What does HartVaatHAG add to the DCVA, why should we be happy that HartVaatHAG is participating?
HartVaatHAG supports the DCVA in the development and implementation of new projects by looking at them from a general practice perspective. With HartVaatHAG, the DCVA has a partner who advises a large proportion of Dutch general practitioners in the field of cardiovascular diseases.

Why is it good to be part of the DCVA?
By participating in the DCVA, HartVaatHAG keeps abreast of new developments and can contribute to new initiatives in the field of cardiovascular disease at an early stage. HartVaatHAG, together with other partners, wants to help guide the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in primary care, both on a scientific level and on a societal level.
