On Thursday 24 June DCVA and the Netherlands Heart Institute organize the 5th DCVA Translational Cardiovascular Research Meeting: Together we beat as one, in the "Beatrixgebouw" in Utrecht.
Because of the current COVID situation, the intention is to conduct the meeting in a hybrid way, aiming for physical presence when allowed. This means that all national speakers are invited to location “Beatrixgebouw" Utrecht. We also hope to welcome visitors, but unfortunately this is not clear yet. In any case, online participation is possible.
We are proud of the wide variety of topics we cover, such as New models, Early recognition and early intervention, Diagnostic tools and valorisation, COVID-19 and many more, with great national and international speakers. We also have two excellent keynote speakers on our program: Prof. Naveed Sattar (University of Glasgow) and dr. Sean Wu (Stanford Cardiovascular Institute and Stanford University School of Medicine). For young talents there will be workshops, organized by Young@Heart and we will award the Fellowships and Einthoven Prizes.
