Registration NHR Symposium 2022 now open!

On Friday the 1th of July 2022, the annual NHR Symposium will take place in the Jaarbeurs Utrecht focussing on the broad use of health data.

The symposium offers a varied program. Dutch heart care experts will present how they use data available within the Netherlands Heart Registration (NHR) for quality improvement and scientific research.

Key-note speakers who will share their vision are:

  • Dr. S. Larsson, MD (Co-founder & board member ICHOM) discusses the importance of transparency in improving healthcare outcomes;
  • Mr. R. Roozendaal (Director Information Policy) and Mrs. M. Debets (Senior Policy Officer), both from the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare & Sport, discuss the current and future state of the healthcare information landscape in the Netherlands.

In addition, various presentations will discuss the development of diagnosis registrations for heart failure and atrial fibrillation. Also, the DCVA consortium Heart4Data will share the vision of all involved DCVA partners on creating an infrastructure for registry based research in cardiovascular care in het Netherlands.

The symposium will be concluded with several short presentations and a panel discussion with leading experts in the field of broad use of health data. Afterwards we will offer the opportunity to meet colleagues during a networking session.

Accreditation points have been applied for with the NVVC, NVT and NVHVV. Participation is free of charge. The presentations are held in Dutch with exception of the key-note by Dr. S. Larsson which will be held in English.
