Pieter Glijnis is the president of the PLN Heart Foundation. This ANBI registered Foundation, established in 2012 in The Netherlands to eliminate the life-threatening PLN heart disease p.Arg14del, is an active patient association that initiates, supports and finance scientific research projects.
Pieter has, as president of the PLN Heart Foundation, expanded its network in the past years with an (inter)national joint venture of innovative Dutch and worldwide Research Centers and uses his leadership-experience to connect, stimulate and motivate the various research teams all over the world where the different teams reinforce one another.
