Sanne Groeneveld is a PhD candidate at the Department of Cardiology at the UMC Utrecht, under the supervision of Dr. Hassink and Prof. Doevendans. She graduated from the medical school of Utrecht University in 2019 with honours, where she developed her interest in cardiac electrophysiology and arrhythmogenesis. She currently focusses on unraveling the arrhythmogenic substrate in patients with idiopathic ventricular fibrillation.
