On Thursday, June 19, during the DCVA Partner Assembly, the Dutch CardioVascular Alliance (DCVA) officially welcomed two new partners: the Hersenstichting (Dutch Brain Foundation) and the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Nucleaire Geneeskunde (NVNG – Dutch Society for Nuclear Medicine). Their addition marks a significant step in strengthening the DCVA’s multidisciplinary approach to combating cardiovascular disease.
The inclusion of the Hersenstichting and the NVNG reinforces the DCVA’s mission to reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease by 25% by the year 2030. These new partners bring in-depth knowledge and complementary expertise in brain health and nuclear medicine, reflecting the important interconnection between neurological and cardiovascular conditions.
With their involvement, the DCVA expands its collaborative foundation across key domains of health, fostering greater innovation, knowledge-sharing, and alignment between research and clinical practice. This multidisciplinary cooperation is essential to tackling the complexity of cardiovascular disease and its related conditions.
