Inigo Bermejo is a postdoctoral researcher in the Clinical Data Science group of Maastricht university.
He did his PhD at UNED in Spain on applications of probabilistic graphical models in medicine. He has worked as a research associate at the University of Sheffield building and critically assessing health economic models and as a research scientist in the company Cochlear. In his current role, he is involved in the development of prediction models and clinical decision support systems using artificial intelligence and machine learning.
In CARRIER, Inigo Bermejo acts as an internal project manager and work package leader for WP2. He will supervise the development of the federated learning infrastructure and the prediction models that will inform personalization of the lifestyle interventions for prevention.
