On 16-17 March 2026, a dedicated networking and Tech-to-Market event related to the European Innovation Council (EIC) Cardiogenomics Pathfinder projects will be organised in Leiden. The event is organised by Amanda Foks, Bram Slütter and Ilze Bot (B-specific, Leiden University) together with Gerard Pasterkamp from the MIRACLE project (UMC Utrecht).
The event is designed to strengthen connections between academia and industry, foster collaborations, and support the next generation of scientists.
The Cardiogenomics Pathfinder projects aim to identify novel drug targets and biomarkers for diagnostics and patient stratification in cardiovascular diseases. Projects within the Cardiogenomics portfolio include TargetMI, MIRACLE, IMPACT EU, CARDIOREPAIR, DCM-NEXT, NaV1.5-CARED, and B-specific.
