During the 9th edition of the NLHI-DCVA Translational Research Meeting, a session has been scheduled on Friday, June 20, for the presentations of the top 5 poster proposals. The jury has selected the 5 best, and we are pleased to share the names with you:

In addition to this top 5, all other submissions will be displayed in the main hall. We encourage you to take a stroll to explore and learn more about these research projects.

Every year, the Netherlands Heart Institute awards fellowships to young scientists, allowing them to work abroad for up to a year. This fellowship program is supported by the Foundation Friends of Cardiology (Vrienden van de Cardiologie).

During the 9th Translational Cardiovascular Research Meeting of the DCVA and the Netherlands Heart Institute, two applicants will be invited to present their proposals. The awarding session will take place during the closing session on Friday, June 20, 2025.

Registrations for the proposals are now closed. The two finalists from this year's fellowship submissions are Sila Algül (Amsterdam UMC) and Najim Lahrouchi (Amsterdam UMC). Congratulations on your outstanding proposals! 🏆

Initiated by the Dutch Society of Cardiology (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Cardiologie (NVVC)) and Netherlands Heart Institute, the Einthoven Dissertation Awards recognize outstanding cardiovascular dissertations.
A total of €6,000 will be awarded:
