My name is Stephanie de Block, and I recently started as a project manager at the DCVA. I have an academic background in Health Sciences (Policy and Management) from Maastricht University, and I hold a Master’s degree in International Public Health from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
Most recently, I completed an internship in Melbourne, where I was involved in research on physical activity patterns in young children and how these behaviors develop over time. It was an enriching experience that deepened my interest in preventive health.
In my free time, I enjoy staying active. I love running, exploring new places while traveling, and spending time in the kitchen cooking or baking. What particularly resonates with me about the DCVA’s mission is its strong focus on collaboration. I truly believe that only by joining forces we can make a real impact in improving cardiovascular health for everyone.
